The WordPress advantage for content management.

It doesn’t seem that long ago when adding pages to your website or blog was a real pain in the a$$. Now it is actually fun. Right? Well, maybe not always fun but, at least a lot easier. I have to hand it to the developers of wordpress. Part of the reason why there is so much information on the internet these days could be because it is so easy to add it to a website. In the past you had to almost be a programer just to add your new content to the web.

Well a lot has changed in the last year or so thanks to wordpress. Not only is it easy to update your blog from your computer, you can now do it from your iphone. I have a free app from wordpress that will let me add not only text but photos and videos to my website. You can even do it over the AT&T 3g network. The days of web publishers needing a laptop or even a netbook are almost over.

Just 6 months ago even trying to edit your wordpress theme seemed like a weekend project. Have you tried looking for new or updated themes lately? You can now get plenty of free themes that have as much customization built in as the premium themes of old. What more do we want? This is an exciting time to be putting up a new website or blog. I can’t see how much easier it can get. Maybe we could get the wordpress developers to write the content for us also:) Now with a little bit of cheap web hosting and free wordpress software, the sky is the limit for your website.
